What if we could have a label where we just signed stuff we loved rather than what it would sell.
What if we only worked with people we liked because life is too short to do it any other way?
What if we gave artists a fair deal and didn't try to take their rights for life?
What if we had a model that worked for everyone from the smallest to the biggest?
What if we tried our best on everything we signed?

Well "What if" came to town one day and it was wearing a Fruitcake Music T-Shirt, so here we are. And we are having lots of fun doing it.

So let me get this straight, the major record companies want to take their entire catalogue and give it to the phone companies or itunes or whoever who will preload it on to devices various. You (and me i guess) the consumers then get to have all of this stuff pre loaded on the wonderful new gizmo we are buying for just a small contribution of say $50. Hmmm well that sounds like a great idea, that will really do the whole industry a power of good that will. Jesus Mary and Joseph its enough to make want to take up DIY dentistry. Are these people on drugs ?   Its like being in a wooden rowing boat and deciding that you feet are too hot so drilling holes in the floor to let some water in to cool them off. Well not really but its all i can come up with for the minute
