Rumour has it that Steve Reynolds has a new album in the works. Steve has been beavering away in hugely luxurious live in studio somewhere in the depths of Marocco, ah not really, but it sounds good and i bet the album will too.

The observant amongst you will have noticed a sudden prevalence of Thea Gilmore based happenings in the media with 4* reviews in Q and Uncut and lots of play for Old Soul on BBC Radio 2. Watch out for lots more articles including the Observer Music Monthly and The Guardian. Also a couple more dates have been added to the list below.

Jim Bianco - The Hotel Cafe Tour
The fabulous Jim Bianco will return to tour UK and Europe this Spring as part of the Hotel Cafe Tour. This years tour led off by the most excellent Tom McRae also features Cary Brothers, Catherine Feeny, Brian Wright and Greg Laswell as well as of course Jim Bianco. Jim's new album Sing ! will be released Monday April 28th but for those of you who are desperate it will be available from the merch stand at all the Hotel Cafe Tour Shows, yes even those before the release date. If you promise to kiss him Jim will also sign your CD, so pop along see Jim and a while bunch of other great musicians and get a kiss from Jim !!

Mark Morriss - Memory Muscle
The charismatic Bluetones frontman turns in his debut solo album for Fruitcake and it is an absolute corker. Music on the player shortly and more info to follow. You can get your hands on the album on May 26th and the first single 'I'm Sick' on May 19th.

The finishing touches are just being applied to the new Thea Gilmore
and is sounding utterly fabulous. Expect the album in early April.

Joe Purdy returns to London
Purdy returns to London this December for two special nights of shows, and his biggest yet, spanning his album catalogue. These shows will be backed by Brian Wright and The Waco Tragedies. The shows will be filmed and recorded for his first ever concert film and live album.
